The new Portaria n.º 94-A/2026/1 strengthens support for SMEs affected by the recent storms, floods, and inundations in Portugal. Through the amendment of the “Financial Instrument for Innovation and Competitiveness” incentive scheme, the scope of the “Reindustrialize” line is now extended to municipalities where a state of calamity or contingency has been declared.
This measure aims to ensure business continuity, safeguard employment, and encourage new investments in innovation, digitalization, and technological development, even in times of crisis.
